Nawr daeth Gwledd y Bara Croyw yn agos, a elwir Pasg y Pasg. 2Ac roedd yr archoffeiriaid a'r ysgrifenyddion yn ceisio sut i'w roi i farwolaeth, oherwydd roedden nhw'n ofni'r bobl. 3Yna aeth Satan i mewn i Jwdas o'r enw Iscariot, a oedd o nifer y deuddeg. 4Aeth i ffwrdd a chyfleu i'r prif offeiriaid a swyddogion sut y gallai ei fradychu iddynt. 5Ac roeddent yn falch, ac yn cytuno i roi arian iddo. 6Felly cydsyniodd a cheisiodd gyfle i'w fradychu iddynt yn absenoldeb torf. 7Yna daeth diwrnod y Bara Croyw, yr oedd yn rhaid aberthu oen Pasg arno. 8Felly anfonodd Iesu Pedr ac Ioan, gan ddweud, "Dos a pharatoi Pasg y Pasg inni, er mwyn inni ei fwyta."
Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called the Passover. 2And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to put him to death, for they feared the people. 3Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. 4He went away and conferred with the chief priests and officers how he might betray him to them. 5And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. 6So he consented and sought an opportunity to betray him to them in the absence of a crowd. 7Then came the day of Unleavened Bread, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. 8So Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat it."
9Dywedon nhw wrtho, "Ble byddwch chi wedi i ni ei baratoi?"
9They said to him, "Where will you have us prepare it?"
10Dywedodd wrthynt, "Wele, pan fyddwch wedi dod i mewn i'r ddinas, bydd dyn sy'n cario jar o ddŵr yn cwrdd â chi. Dilynwch ef i'r tŷ y mae'n mynd i mewn iddo 11a dywed wrth feistr y tŷ, 'Mae'r Athro'n dweud wrthych, "Ble mae'r ystafell westeion, lle y gallaf fwyta Pasg gyda'm disgyblion?' 12A bydd yn dangos ystafell fawr fawr wedi'i dodrefnu i chi; ei baratoi yno. "
10He said to them, "Behold, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters 11and tell the master of the house, 'The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' 12And he will show you a large upper room furnished; prepare it there."
13Aethant a dod o hyd iddo yn union fel yr oedd wedi dweud wrthyn nhw, a dyma nhw'n paratoi Pasg. 14A phan ddaeth yr awr, fe lewygodd wrth fwrdd, a'r apostolion gydag ef. 15Ac meddai wrthynt, "Rwyf wedi dymuno'n daer i fwyta'r Pasg hwn gyda chi cyn i mi ddioddef. 16Oherwydd rwy'n dweud wrthych na fyddaf yn ei fwyta nes iddo gael ei gyflawni yn nheyrnas Dduw. " 17Cymerodd gwpan, ac wedi iddo ddiolch, dywedodd, "Cymerwch hwn, a'i rannu yn eich plith eich hun. 18Oherwydd dywedaf wrthych na fyddaf o hyn ymlaen yn yfed o ffrwyth y winwydden nes daw teyrnas Dduw. "
13And they went and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. 14And when the hour came, he reclined at table, and the apostles with him. 15And he said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16For I tell you I will not eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God." 17And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he said, "Take this, and divide it among yourselves. 18For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
19Cymerodd fara, ac wedi iddo ddiolch, fe'i torrodd a'i roi iddynt, gan ddweud, "Dyma fy nghorff, a roddir ar eich rhan. Gwnewch hyn er cof amdanaf." 20Ac yn yr un modd y cwpan ar ôl iddyn nhw fwyta, gan ddweud, "Y cwpan hwn sy'n cael ei dywallt i chi yw'r cyfamod newydd yn fy ngwaed. 21Ond wele law'r sawl sy'n fy mradychu i gyda mi ar y bwrdd. 22Oherwydd mae Mab y Dyn yn mynd fel y penderfynwyd, ond gwae'r dyn hwnnw y mae'n cael ei fradychu ganddo! "
19And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me." 20And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood. 21But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table. 22For the Son of Man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!"
23A dyma nhw'n dechrau cwestiynu ei gilydd, pa un ohonyn nhw allai fod yn mynd i wneud hyn. 24Cododd anghydfod yn eu plith hefyd, ynghylch pa un ohonynt oedd i'w ystyried fel y mwyaf. 25Ac meddai wrthynt, "Mae brenhinoedd y Cenhedloedd yn arfer arglwyddiaeth drostynt, a gelwir y rhai sydd mewn awdurdod drostynt yn gymwynaswyr. 26Ond nid felly gyda chi. Yn hytrach, gadewch i'r mwyaf yn eich plith ddod fel yr ieuengaf, a'r arweinydd fel un sy'n gwasanaethu. 27Ar gyfer pwy yw'r mwyaf, un sy'n lledaenu wrth fwrdd neu un sy'n gwasanaethu? Onid yr un sy'n lledaenu wrth y bwrdd? Ond rydw i yn eich plith chi fel yr un sy'n gwasanaethu. 28"Chi yw'r rhai sydd wedi aros gyda mi yn fy nhreialon, 29ac yr wyf yn aseinio i chwi, fel y neilltuodd fy Nhad i mi, deyrnas, 30er mwyn i chi fwyta ac yfed wrth fy mwrdd yn fy nheyrnas ac eistedd ar orseddau yn barnu deuddeg llwyth Israel.
23And they began to question one another, which of them it could be who was going to do this. 24A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest. 25And he said to them, "The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors. 26But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. 27For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves. 28"You are those who have stayed with me in my trials, 29and I assign to you, as my Father assigned to me, a kingdom, 30that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
31"Simon, Simon, wele Satan wedi mynnu eich cael chi, er mwyn iddo eich didoli fel gwenith," 32ond yr wyf wedi gweddïo drosoch na fydd eich ffydd yn methu. Ac wedi i chi droi eto, cryfhewch eich brodyr. "
31"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 32but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."
33Dywedodd Pedr wrtho, "Arglwydd, rwy'n barod i fynd gyda chi i'r carchar ac i farwolaeth."
33Peter said to him, "Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death."
34Dywedodd Iesu, "Rwy'n dweud wrthych chi, Pedr, ni fydd y ceiliog yn brain heddiw, nes eich bod chi'n gwadu deirgwaith eich bod chi'n fy adnabod."
34Jesus said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me."
35Ac meddai wrthyn nhw, "Pan anfonais chi allan heb unrhyw fag arian na bag cefn na sandalau, a oedd gennych chi ddim byd?" Dywedon nhw, "Dim byd."
35And he said to them, "When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."
36He said to them, "But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. 37For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors.' For what is written about me has its fulfillment."
38A dyma nhw'n dweud, "Edrych, Arglwydd, dyma ddau gleddyf." Ac meddai wrthynt, "Mae'n ddigon."
38And they said, "Look, Lord, here are two swords." And he said to them, "It is enough."
39And he came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. 40And when he came to the place, he said to them, "Pray that you may not enter into temptation."
41Tynnodd yn ôl oddi wrthyn nhw am dafliad carreg, a bwrw i lawr a gweddïo, 42gan ddweud, "O Dad, os ydych chi'n fodlon, tynnwch y cwpan hwn oddi wrthyf. Serch hynny, nid fy ewyllys i, ond eich un chi, fydd yn cael ei wneud."
41And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42saying, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
43Ac ymddangosodd iddo angel o'r nefoedd, yn ei gryfhau. 44A bod mewn poen yn gweddïo'n daer; a daeth ei chwys fel diferion mawr o waed yn cwympo i lawr i'r llawr.
43And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him. 44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45A phan gododd o weddi, daeth at y disgyblion a'u cael yn cysgu am dristwch, 46a dywedodd wrthynt, "Pam wyt ti'n cysgu? Codwch a gweddïwch na chewch chi demtasiwn."
45And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow, 46and he said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation."
47Tra roedd yn dal i siarad, daeth torf, ac roedd y dyn o'r enw Jwdas, un o'r deuddeg, yn eu harwain. Daeth yn agos at Iesu i'w gusanu, 48ond dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "Jwdas, a fyddech chi'n bradychu Mab y Dyn â chusan?"
47While he was still speaking, there came a crowd, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to kiss him, 48but Jesus said to him, "Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?"
49A phan welodd y rhai oedd o'i gwmpas beth fyddai'n dilyn, dywedon nhw, "Arglwydd, a fyddwn ni'n taro gyda'r cleddyf?" 50Ac fe darodd un ohonyn nhw was yr archoffeiriad a thorri ei glust dde i ffwrdd.
49And when those who were around him saw what would follow, they said, "Lord, shall we strike with the sword?" 50And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear.
51Ond dywedodd Iesu, "Dim mwy o hyn!" Cyffyrddodd â'i glust a'i iacháu. 52Yna dywedodd Iesu wrth brif offeiriaid a swyddogion y deml a'r henuriaid, a oedd wedi dod allan yn ei erbyn, "Ydych chi wedi dod allan yn erbyn lleidr, gyda chleddyfau a chlybiau? 53Pan oeddwn gyda chi ddydd ar ôl dydd yn y deml, ni wnaethoch osod dwylo arnaf. Ond dyma'ch awr chi, a nerth y tywyllwch. "
51But Jesus said, "No more of this!" And he touched his ear and healed him. 52Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders, who had come out against him, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs? 53When I was with you day after day in the temple, you did not lay hands on me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."
54Yna dyma nhw'n ei gipio a'i arwain i ffwrdd, gan ddod ag ef i mewn i dŷ'r archoffeiriad, ac roedd Pedr yn ei ddilyn o bell. 55Ac wedi iddyn nhw gynnau tân yng nghanol y cwrt ac eistedd i lawr gyda'i gilydd, eisteddodd Pedr i lawr yn eu plith. 56Yna dywedodd merch was, wrth ei weld wrth iddo eistedd yn y goleuni ac edrych yn agos arno, "Roedd y dyn hwn gydag ef hefyd."
54Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest's house, and Peter was following at a distance. 55And when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them. 56Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, "This man also was with him."
57Ond gwadodd hynny, gan ddweud, "Menyw, nid wyf yn ei adnabod."
57But he denied it, saying, "Woman, I do not know him."
58Ac ychydig yn ddiweddarach gwelodd rhywun arall ef a dweud, "Rydych chi hefyd yn un ohonyn nhw." Ond dywedodd Pedr, "Ddyn, nid wyf fi."
58And a little later someone else saw him and said, "You also are one of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not."
59And after an interval of about an hour still another insisted, saying, "Certainly this man also was with him, for he too is a Galilean."
60Ond dywedodd Peter, "Ddyn, nid wyf yn gwybod am beth rydych chi'n siarad." Ac yn syth, tra roedd yn dal i siarad, torrodd y ceiliog. 61Trodd yr Arglwydd ac edrych ar Pedr. A chofiodd Pedr ddywediad yr Arglwydd, fel yr oedd wedi dweud wrtho, "Cyn i'r ceiliog ganu heddiw, byddwch chi'n fy ngwadu deirgwaith." 62Ac aeth allan ac wylo'n chwerw.
60But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are talking about." And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 61And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, "Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times." 62And he went out and wept bitterly.
63Nawr roedd y dynion oedd yn dal Iesu yn y ddalfa yn ei watwar wrth iddyn nhw ei guro. 64Fe wnaethant hefyd ei fwgwdio a pharhau i ofyn iddo, "Proffwyda! Pwy yw'r un a'ch trawodd?" 65A dywedon nhw lawer o bethau eraill yn ei erbyn, gan ei gablu.
63Now the men who were holding Jesus in custody were mocking him as they beat him. 64They also blindfolded him and kept asking him, "Prophesy! Who is it that struck you?" 65And they said many other things against him, blaspheming him.
66Pan ddaeth y dydd, ymgasglodd cynulliad henuriaid y bobl ynghyd, yn brif offeiriaid ac yn ysgrifenyddion. A dyma nhw'n ei arwain i ffwrdd i'w cyngor, a dywedon nhw,
66When day came, the assembly of the elders of the people gathered together, both chief priests and scribes. And they led him away to their council, and they said,
67"Os mai ti ydy'r Crist, dywedwch wrthym." Ond dywedodd wrthynt, "Os dywedaf wrthych, ni fyddwch yn credu, 68ac os gofynnaf ichi, ni fyddwch yn ateb. 69Ond o hyn ymlaen bydd Mab y Dyn yn eistedd ar ddeheulaw nerth Duw. "
67"If you are the Christ, tell us." But he said to them, "If I tell you, you will not believe, 68and if I ask you, you will not answer. 69But from now on the Son of Man shall be seated at the right hand of the power of God."
70Felly dyma nhw i gyd yn dweud, "Ai Mab Duw wyt ti, felly?" Ac meddai wrthynt, "Rydych chi'n dweud fy mod i."
70So they all said, "Are you the Son of God, then?" And he said to them, "You say that I am."
71Then they said, "What further testimony do we need? We have heard it ourselves from his own lips."
