Ar ôl hyn penododd yr Arglwydd saith deg dau o bobl eraill a'u hanfon ymlaen o'i flaen, dau wrth ddau, i bob tref a man lle'r oedd ef ei hun ar fin mynd. 2Ac meddai wrthynt, "Mae'r cynhaeaf yn doreithiog, ond prin yw'r llafurwyr. Felly gweddïwch yn daer ar Arglwydd y cynhaeaf i anfon llafurwyr i'w gynhaeaf. 3Ewch eich ffordd; wele fi yn dy anfon allan fel ŵyn yng nghanol bleiddiaid. 4Peidiwch â chario bag arian, dim tacsi, dim sandalau, a chyfarch neb ar y ffordd. 5Pa bynnag dŷ rydych chi'n mynd i mewn iddo, dywedwch yn gyntaf, 'Heddwch fyddo i'r tŷ hwn!' 6Ac os oes mab heddwch yno, bydd eich heddwch yn gorffwys arno. Ond os na, bydd yn dychwelyd atoch chi. 7Ac aros yn yr un tŷ, gan fwyta ac yfed yr hyn maen nhw'n ei ddarparu, oherwydd mae'r llafurwr yn haeddu ei gyflog. Peidiwch â mynd o dŷ i dŷ. 8Pryd bynnag y byddwch chi'n mynd i mewn i dref ac maen nhw'n eich derbyn chi, bwyta'r hyn sydd o'ch blaen. 9Iachau'r sâl ynddo a dweud wrthyn nhw, 'Mae teyrnas Dduw wedi dod yn agos atoch chi.' 10Ond pryd bynnag y byddwch chi'n mynd i mewn i dref ac nad ydyn nhw'n eich derbyn chi, ewch i'w strydoedd a dweud, 11'Hyd yn oed llwch eich tref sy'n glynu wrth ein traed rydyn ni'n sychu yn eich erbyn. Serch hynny, gwyddoch hyn, fod teyrnas Dduw wedi dod yn agos. ' 12Rwy'n dweud wrthych, bydd yn fwy cludadwy ar y diwrnod hwnnw i Sodom nag i'r dref honno.
After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go. 2And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. 3Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves. 4Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, no sandals, and greet no one on the road. 5Whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house!' 6And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you. 7And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages. Do not go from house to house. 8Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you. 9Heal the sick in it and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.' 10But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go into its streets and say, 11'Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near.' 12I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
13"Gwae chi, Chorazin! Gwae chi, Bethsaida! Oherwydd pe bai'r gwaith nerthol a wnaed ynoch chi wedi'i wneud yn Tyrus a Sidon, byddent wedi edifarhau ers talwm, yn eistedd mewn sachliain a lludw. 14Ond bydd yn fwy cludadwy yn y farn am Tyrus a Sidon nag i chi. 15A thithau, Capernaum, a ddyrchefir i nefoedd? Fe'ch dygir i lawr i Hades. 16"Mae'r un sy'n eich clywed chi'n fy nghlywed i, ac mae'r un sy'n eich gwrthod chi'n fy ngwrthod i, ac mae'r un sy'n fy ngwrthod yn ei wrthod ef a'm hanfonodd i."
13"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. 14But it will be more bearable in the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 15And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You shall be brought down to Hades. 16"The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me."
17Dychwelodd y saith deg dau â llawenydd, gan ddweud, "Arglwydd, mae hyd yn oed y cythreuliaid yn ddarostyngedig i ni yn eich enw chi!"
17The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"
18Ac meddai wrthynt, "Gwelais Satan yn cwympo fel mellt o'r nefoedd. 19Wele, yr wyf wedi rhoi awdurdod ichi droedio ar seirff a sgorpionau, a thros holl nerth y gelyn, ac ni fydd dim yn eich brifo. 20Serch hynny, peidiwch â llawenhau yn hyn, bod yr ysbrydion yn ddarostyngedig i chi, ond llawenhewch fod eich enwau wedi'u hysgrifennu yn y nefoedd. "
18And he said to them, "I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. 20Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
21Yn yr un awr hwnnw llawenhaodd yn yr Ysbryd Glân a dywedodd, "Rwy'n diolch i ti, Dad, Arglwydd nefoedd a daear, eich bod wedi cuddio'r pethau hyn rhag y doeth a'r deall a'u datgelu i blant bach; ie, Dad, am y cyfryw oedd eich ewyllys rasol.
21In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.
22Mae pob peth wedi cael ei drosglwyddo i mi gan fy Nhad, ac nid oes unrhyw un yn gwybod pwy yw'r Mab heblaw'r Tad, na phwy yw'r Tad heblaw'r Mab ac unrhyw un y mae'r Mab yn dewis ei ddatgelu iddo. "
22All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
23Yna gan droi at y disgyblion dywedodd yn breifat, "Gwyn eu byd y llygaid sy'n gweld yr hyn rydych chi'n ei weld! 24Oherwydd dywedaf wrthych fod llawer o broffwydi a brenhinoedd yn dymuno gweld yr hyn a welwch, ac na welsoch ef, a chlywed yr hyn a glywch, ac na chlywsoch ef. "
23Then turning to the disciples he said privately, "Blessed are the eyes that see what you see! 24For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it."
25Ac wele gyfreithiwr yn sefyll i fyny i'w roi ar brawf, gan ddweud, "Athro, beth a wnaf i etifeddu bywyd tragwyddol?"
25And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?"
26Dywedodd wrtho, "Beth sydd wedi'i ysgrifennu yn y Gyfraith? Sut ydych chi'n ei ddarllen?"
26He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?"
27Atebodd, "Byddwch yn caru'r Arglwydd eich Duw â'ch holl galon ac â'ch holl enaid ac â'ch holl nerth ac â'ch holl feddwl, a'ch cymydog fel chi eich hun."
27And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."
28Ac meddai wrtho, "Rydych wedi ateb yn gywir; gwnewch hyn, a byddwch yn byw."
28And he said to him, "You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live."
29Ond dywedodd ef, gan ddymuno cyfiawnhau ei hun, wrth Iesu, "A phwy yw fy nghymydog?"
29But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"
30Atebodd Iesu, "Roedd dyn yn mynd i lawr o Jerwsalem i Jericho, a syrthiodd ymhlith lladron, a'i streipiodd a'i guro ac ymadael, gan ei adael yn hanner marw. 31Nawr ar hap roedd offeiriad yn mynd i lawr y ffordd honno, a phan welodd ef fe aeth heibio i'r ochr arall. 32Felly yn yr un modd Lefiad, pan ddaeth i'r lle a'i weld, aeth heibio yr ochr arall. 33Ond daeth Samariad, wrth iddo deithio, i'r man lle'r oedd, a phan welodd ef, tosturiodd. 34Aeth ato a rhwymo ei glwyfau i fyny, gan arllwys olew a gwin. Yna gosododd ef ar ei anifail ei hun a dod ag ef i dafarn a gofalu amdano. 35A thrannoeth cymerodd ddau denarii allan a'u rhoi i'r tafarnwr, gan ddweud, 'Gofalwch amdano, a beth bynnag arall rydych chi'n ei wario, byddaf yn eich ad-dalu pan ddof yn ôl.' 36Pa un o'r tri hyn, yn eich barn chi, a brofodd i fod yn gymydog i'r dyn a syrthiodd ymhlith y lladron? "
30Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. 31Now by chance a priest was going down that road, and when he saw him he passed by on the other side. 32So likewise a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. 34He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35And the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take care of him, and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.' 36Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?"
37Meddai, "Yr un a ddangosodd drugaredd iddo." A dywedodd Iesu wrtho, "Rydych chi'n mynd, ac yn gwneud yr un peth."
37He said, "The one who showed him mercy." And Jesus said to him, "You go, and do likewise."
38Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet and listened to his teaching. 40But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me."
41Ond atebodd yr Arglwydd hi, "Martha, Martha, rydych chi'n bryderus ac yn gythryblus am lawer o bethau," 42ond mae un peth yn angenrheidiol. Mae Mary wedi dewis y gyfran dda, na fydd yn cael ei chymryd oddi wrthi. "
41But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her."
